Here we show an overview of ‘average prices’, ‘price ranges’ and ‘number of transactions’ for a little over 2,900 ‘ready to move’ and an another little over 1,900 ‘currently under construction or would be constructued in future’ apartments bought/sold between July 2019 and June 2020 across the Luxembourg communes.
- The L’Observatoire de l’Habitat from the Ministère du Logement has developed a methodology in support from the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) to estimate the contribution of the various annexes (eg, garages, indoor/outdoor parking spaces, cellars, etc.) to the sale price (using historical data) and then exclude these contributions to assess the price per sq.m. of the apartment (data below).
- The prices reported for apartments under construction includes a VAT rate of 3% (within the limit of the total tax concession of € 50,000)
- Data for a commune is only shown if there were a minimum of 10 transactions between July 2019 to June 2020 (12 months) else no data (n.d.) is shown for statistical reasons.
